[[കണ്ണൂർ ജില്ല|കണ്ണൂർ ജില്ലയിൽ]] ([[കേരളം]], [[ഇന്ത്യ]]) സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രകൃതിസുന്ദരമായ അണക്കെട്ടാണ് '''പഴശ്ശി അണക്കെട്ട്''' (പഴശ്ശി ഡാം). കണ്ണൂർ ജില്ലാ തലസ്ഥാനത്തിന് 37 കിലോമീറ്റർ കിഴക്കായി [[മട്ടന്നൂർ|മട്ടന്നൂരിന്]] അടുത്താണ് പഴശ്ശി അണക്കെട്ട് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. ഉത്തരകേരളത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രധാന ജല സേചന പദ്ധതി എന്ന നിലയിലാണ് ഈ അണക്കെട്ട് നിർമ്മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. കണ്ണൂർ ജില്ലയിലെ എല്ലാ ഭാഗത്തേക്കും കൂടാതെ മയ്യഴി (മാഹി) പ്രദേശത്തേക്കും കൃഷിക്കാവശ്യമായ ജലം എത്തിക്കുക എന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെയാണ് ഈ പദ്ധതിക്ക് തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചത്.
