S.S.L.C is an exam held during March month for the students of Kerala. It is also considered as the annual exam of class 10. It is the gateway for the future studies. Admission for the Higher studies is given according to the merit of this exam. In every year about 2.10 million students writes and about 90 percentage students pass the exam with high merit. The mark is calculated in Grades (this system came from the year 2002 onwards).

The result of exam is published online with the help of www.nic.co.in & www.it@school.com . If the mark is less, there is an option to give for re-evaluation or write the exam again in that year.
GRADE - MARKS
A+ - above 90
A – above 80
B+ - above 70
B – above 60
C+ - above 50
C – above 40 D+ - above 30 (fail)
nb : if in any subject got C grade, it is considered as fail.
