ശ്രീജിത്ത് തൃശ്ശൂരിലെ ''ഹരി ശീ വിദ്യ നിധി'' സ്കൂളിൽ പഠിക്കുന്ന കാലത്ത് തന്നെ ധാരാളം തിയേറ്റർ പരിപാടികളിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തിരുന്നു. സ്കൂളിലെ അന്നത്തെ പ്രിൻസിപ്പാൾ ആയിരുന്ന നളിനി ചന്ദ്രൻ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് മികച്ച പ്രോത്സാഹനം നൽകിയിരുന്നു. പിന്നീട് കോളേജ് ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഇത് അദ്ദേഹം തുടർന്നു. പോർട്ലാന്റ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിലെ മൈക്കിൾ ഗ്രിഗ്സിന്റെയും, മഹേഷ് ദത്തനി എന്നിവരുടെ തിയേറ്റർ ക്ലാസുകൾ അറ്റൻഡ് ചെയ്തു.

Also did a short play called Athentha with father T G Ravi directed by Satyajit at the International Theatre fest at Thrissur in 2010. On arrival to hometown learnt that several sons of actors like prithviraj, indrajith, jishnu, etc were getting into the industry and decided to try. Saw newspaper invite for new faces for mayookham, applied, went for screen test and got selected.
