സ്റ്റോക്ക്ഹോം സിൻഡ്രോം
മനശാസ്ത്രത്തിൽ ഉപയോഗിച്ചുവരുന്ന ഒരു പദമാണ് സ്റ്റോക്ക്ഹോം സിൻഡ്രോം(Stockholm Syndrome) എന്നത്. ബന്ദികൾക്ക്, തങ്ങളുടെ അപഹർത്താക്കളോട് (തട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുവന്നു ബന്ദിയാക്കിവച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവരോട്) തോന്നുന്ന സഹാനുഭൂതിയെ വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കാനാണ് ഈ പദം ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്.[1][2] സ്റ്റോക്ക്ഹോമിലെ നോർമൽസ്ട്രോമിലെ ക്രെഡിറ്റ്ബാങ്കെൻ എന്ന ബാങ്കിന്റെ ശാഖയിൽ നടന്ന ഒരു കൊള്ളയിൽ ഇതുപോലെ ഒരു സംഭവം ഉണ്ടായി. ഇതിൽനിന്നാണ് ഈ പ്രതിഭാസത്തിന് പേരു ലഭിച്ചത്.
ലിമ സിൻഡ്രോം തിരുത്തുക
സ്റ്റോക്ക്ഹോം സിൻഡ്രോമിന്റെ നേരെ വിപരീതമാണ് ലിമ സിൻഡ്രോം. ഇവിടെ ബന്ദികളാക്കപ്പെട്ടവരോട് അപഹർത്താക്കൾക്കാണ് സഹതാപം തോന്നുന്നത്. പെറുവിന്റെ തലസ്ഥാനമായ ലിമയിൽ ജപ്പാന്റെ നയതന്ത്രകാര്യാലയത്തിൽ ഒരു ആഘോഷത്തിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തിരുന്ന നൂറുകണക്കിന് ആളുകളെ തീവ്രവാദികൾ ബന്ദികളാക്കുകയും പിന്നീട് സഹതാപം തോന്നി വിട്ടയക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. 1996ൽ നടന്ന ഈ സംഭവമാണ് ഈ പേര് ലഭിക്കാൻ കാരണം.[3][4]

This phenomenon, now termed the 'Lima syndrome,' is an attachment opposite to the 'Stockholm syndrome.'
