മഹാരാഷ്ട്രയിലെ ഷോലാപൂർ എന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് ആണ് സൂസി സൊറാബ്ജി ജനിച്ചത്. [1]ഒരു പഴ്സി ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ മിഷണറിയായ റെവെറന്റ് സൊറാബ്ജി കർസെഡ്ജി, ഫ്രാൻസിന ഫോർഡ് എന്നിവരുടെ ഏഴുമക്കളിലൊരാളായ സൂസിയെ ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് ദമ്പതികൾ ദത്തെടുത്തു വളർത്തുകയുണ്ടായി. അവളുടെ അമ്മ പൂനയിൽ ധാരാളം ഗേൾസ് ഹൈസ്ക്കൂളുകൾ സ്ഥാപിച്ചു.
