സാമി ജനത
ഉത്തര യോറോപ്പിന്റെ വടക്കൻ ഭാഗത്ത് താമസിക്കുന്ന ആദിമ ജനവിഭാഗമാണ് സാമി ജനങ്ങൾ.(Sami people) ഇവർ സംസാരിക്കുന്നത് സാമി ഭാഷകളാണ്. ഇംഗ്ലീഷിൽ പരമ്പരാഗതമായി ഇവരെ ലാപ്‌സ് അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ലാപ്‌ലാൻഡേർസ് (Lapps or Laplanders) എന്നാണ് ഈ ജനവിഭാഗം അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. ഫിൻലാൻഡിന്റെ വടക്കൻ ഭാഗം, നോർവേ, സ്വീഡൻ, റഷ്യയുടെ വടക്കുപടിഞ്ഞാറൻ അറ്റം എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലാണ് സാമി ജനങ്ങൾ അധികമായും വസിക്കുന്നത്.
