ഷെനൻഡോഹ് താഴ്വര
പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ വെർജീനിയയുടെ സാംസ്കാരിക മേഖലയും ഭൂമിശാസ്ത്രപരമായ താഴ്വരയും യുണൈറ്റഡ് സ്റ്റേറ്റ്സിലെ വെസ്റ്റ് വിർജീനിയയിലെ ഈസ്റ്റേൺ പാൻഹാൻഡിലും ആണ് ഷെനൻഡോഹ് താഴ്വര/ˌʃɛnənˈdoʊə/. ഈ താഴ്വരയുടെ കിഴക്ക് വശത്തായി ബ്ലു റിഡ്ജ് മലനിരകൾ, പടിഞ്ഞാറ് റിഡ്ജ്-ആൻഡ്-വാലി അപ്പാലാച്ചിൻ (മസ്സാനോട്ടൺ മൗണ്ടൻ ഒഴികെ), വടക്കോട്ട് പൊട്ടാമാക് നദിയും, തെക്കോട്ട് ജെയിംസ് നദിയും താഴ്വരയെ ചുറ്റപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. പടിഞ്ഞാറ് ഭാഗത്തുള്ള എല്ലാ താഴ്വരകളും, വെർജീനിയൻ മലനിരകളും തെക്ക് റോയനോക്ക് താഴ്വരയും ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു വലിയ പ്രദേശം സാംസ്കാരിക മേഖലയാണ്. ഫിസികൽജോഗ്രാഫിക്കലായി റിഡ്ജ് ആൻഡ് വാലി പ്രവിശ്യയിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത് ഗ്രേറ്റ് അപ്പാലാച്ചിയൻ താഴ്വരയുടെ ഒരു ഭാഗമാണ്.[1]
