ലൂയിസ് നിരൻബർഗ്ഗ്
ഒരു കനേഡിയൻ അമേരിക്കൻ ഗണിത ശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞനാണ് ലൂയിസ് നിരൻബർഗ്ഗ് (ജ: 29 ഫെബ്രുവരി 1925). ഗണിത വിശകലന മേഖലയിലെ പ്രമുഖനായ ഇദ്ദേഹം[1] അവകലസമവാക്യത്തെയും അവയുടെ ജ്യാമിതിയുമായുള്ള സങ്കീർണ്ണ ബന്ധത്തെയുംക്കുറിച്ച് നിരവധി പഠനങ്ങൾ നടത്തി. നിരവധി ഗണിത മേഖലകളിൽ പ്രയോഗിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ഗാഗ്ലിയാർഡോ-നിരൻബർഗ്ഗ് സിദ്ധാന്തത്തിന്റെ (Gagliardo–Nirenberg interpolation inequality) ഉപജ്ഞാതാവുമാണ്.
