ലിയു സിയാബോ (ലഘൂകരിച്ച ചൈനീസ്: 刘晓波; പരമ്പരാഗത ചൈനീസ്: 劉曉波; പിൻയിൻ: Liú Xiǎobō; ജനനം ഡിസംബർ 28 1955) ഒരു ചൈനീസ് മനുഷ്യാവകാശപ്രവർത്തകനും, എഴുത്തുകാരനും, രാഷ്ട്രീയ തടവുകാരനുമാണ്.

സ്വതന്ത്ര ചൈനീസ് പെൻ സെന്ററിന്റെ പ്രസിഡണ്ടായി 2003 മുതൽ ഇദ്ദേഹം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു വരുന്നു. പുതിയ ഭരണഘടനയ്ക്കും സ്വതന്ത്ര നീതിന്യായസംവിധാനത്തിനും അഭിപ്രായസ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിനും ആഹ്വാനംചെയ്തുകൊണ്ട് രണ്ടുവർഷംമുമ്പ് തയ്യാറാക്കിയ ചാർട്ടർ 08 എന്ന മനുഷ്യാവകാശ പ്രഖ്യാപനത്തിന്റെ പേരിലാണ് ഭരണകൂടം ഒടുവിൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ ജയിലിലടച്ചത്. 2009 ഡിസംബറിൽ നടന്ന വിചാരണയിൽ കോടതി 11 വർഷത്തെ തടവുശിക്ഷയാണ് ലിയുവിനു വിധിച്ചത്. ബെയ്ജിങ്ങിലെ നോർമൽ സർവകലാശാലയിലെ സാഹിത്യ അദ്ധ്യാപകനായിരുന്ന ലിയുവിന് ഇതിന്റെ പേരിൽ നേരത്തെതന്നെ ജോലി നഷ്ടമായിരുന്നു.
ചൈനീസ് സർക്കാറിന്റെ ജനാധിപത്യധ്വംസനങ്ങൾക്കെതിരെ 1989-ൽ നടന്ന ടിയാനെൻമൻ സ്‌ക്വയർ വിദ്യാർത്ഥി പ്രക്ഷോഭത്തിന്റെ നേതാക്കളിലൊരാളായിരുന്നു ലിയു സിയാബോ. ഇതേത്തുടർന്ന് രണ്ടുവർഷത്തോളം ജയിലിലായിരുന്നു. രാജ്യത്തെ ഏകകക്ഷി ഭരണത്തിനെതിരെ ശബ്ദമുയർത്തിയതിന്റെ പേരിൽ 1996-ൽ ലേബർ ക്യാമ്പിലടയ്ക്കപ്പെട്ടു.
2010-ലെ സമാധാനത്തിനുള്ള നോബൽ സമ്മാനം ലിയു സിയാബോവിനു് നൽകാൻ നോബൽ സമ്മാന സമിതി തീരുമാനിച്ചു. ചൈനയിൽ മനുഷ്യാവകാശസംരക്ഷണത്തിനായി നടക്കുന്ന വളരെ നീണ്ടു നിൽക്കുന്ന പോരാട്ടത്തിന്റെ പ്രതീകമെന്നാണ് ലിയുവിനെ പുരസ്‌കാരസമിതി വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ചത്[1][2][3].
