ഒരു ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് കവയിത്രി
മേരി ഹോവിറ്റ് (ജീവിതകാലം: 12 മാർച്ച് 1799 – 30 ജനുവരി 1888) ഒരു ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് കവയിത്രിയായിരുന്നു. “ദ സ്പൈഡർ ആൻറ് ദ ഫ്ലൈ” എന്ന പ്രസിദ്ധ കവിത മേരി ഹോവിറ്റിൻറേതാണ്. അവരുടെ ചില കൃതികൾ അവരുടെ ഭർത്താവ് വില്യം ഹോവിറ്റുമായി ചേർന്ന് എഴുതിയതാണ്. പദ്യത്തിലും ഗദ്യത്തിലും പലതും യുവാക്കളെ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചുള്ളതായിരുന്നു.
