ബെംഗലൂരു അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര വിമാനത്താവളം 2008 മേയ് 24-നാണ്‌ പ്രവർത്തനം തുടങ്ങിയത്. [2]. രണ്ട് റൺ‌വേയുള്ള ഈ വിമാനത്താവളത്തിൽ പ്രതിവർഷം 11 മില്യൺ യാത്രക്കാരെ പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു[3]
