ഡേവിഡ് യേറ്റ്സ് സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത്  2016 ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഒരു ഫാന്റസി ചലച്ചിത്രമാണ് ഫാന്റാസ്റ്റിക് ബീസ്റ്റ്സ് ആൻഡ് വേർ റ്റു ഫൈൻഡ് ദെം. ഒരു ബ്രിട്ടീഷ്-അമേരിക്കൻ സംയുക്ത സംരംഭമായ ഈ ചലച്ചിത്രം ഹാരി പോട്ടർ ചലച്ചിത്രപരമ്പരയിൽ നിന്ന് ഉരുത്തിരിഞ്ഞു വന്നതാണ്. ഈ ചലച്ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ നിർമ്മാണവും രചനയും നിർവഹിച്ചത് ജെ കെ റൗളിങ് ആണ്. റൗളിങ്ങിന്റെ  2001 ൽ ഇറങ്ങിയ ഇതേ പേരുള്ള പുസ്തകത്തെ ആസ്പദമാക്കിയാണ് ഈ ചിത്രം രൂപപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. എഡ്ഡി റെഡ്മെയിൻ, കാതറിൻ വാട്ടൺസ്റ്റൺ, ഡാൻ ഫോഗ്ലർ, അലിസൺ സുഡോൾ, എസ്റ മില്ലർ, സാമന്ത മോർട്ടൺ, ജോൺ വോയ്റ്റ്, കാർമെൻ ഇജോഗോ, കോളിൻ ഫാരെൽ എന്നിവർ അടക്കം വലിയ ഒരു താരനിര തന്നെ ഈ ചിത്രത്തിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഫന്റാസ്റ്റിക് ബീസ്റ്റ്സ് ചലച്ചിത്ര പരമ്പരയിലെ ആദ്യ ചിത്രവും, ഹാരി പോട്ടർ ചലച്ചിത്രങ്ങൾ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന വിസാർഡിങ് വേൾഡ് ഫ്രാഞ്ചൈസിയിൽ ഒൻപതാമത്തെ ചിത്രവുമാണ് ഇത്.
