ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ചലചിത്ര അഭിനേത്രി

‌ഇന്ത്യൻ ചലച്ചിത്രനടിയാണ് പ്രിയങ്ക ചോപ്ര (ഹിന്ദി: प्रियंका चोपड़ा; ജനനം ജൂലൈ 18, 1982)[2] ഹിന്ദി ചലച്ചിത്രങ്ങളിലൂടെ ശ്രദ്ധ നേടിയ പ്രിയങ്ക 2000ത്തിലെ ലോക സുന്ദരി പട്ടവും നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. വിജയ് നായകനായി അഭിനയിച്ച തമിഴൻ (2001) എന്ന തമിഴ് ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെയാണ് പ്രിയങ്ക തൻറെ അഭിനയ ജീവിതം ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്.

ഇന്ത്യൻ ആർമിയിലെ മുൻ വൈദ്യന്മാരായിരുന്ന അശോക് ചോപ്രയുടെയും, മധു അഖൌരിയുടെയും മകളായി 1982ൽ ജൂലൈ 18 ന് ബീഹാറിലെ (ഇന്നത്തെ ജാർഖണ്ട്) ജംഷഡ്പൂരിൽ ജനിച്ചു.[3][4] പ്രിയങ്കയ്ക്ക് തന്നെക്കാൾ ഏഴ് വയസ്സിന് താഴെയുള്ള സിദ്ധാർത്ഥ് എന്നു പേരുള്ള ഒരു സഹോദരൻ കൂടിയുണ്ട്.[5] പിതാവ് അംബാലയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള പഞ്ചാബി ഹിന്ദുവായിരുന്നു.[6][7] ജാർഖണ്ട് സ്വദേശിയായ മാതാവ് മധു ചോപ്ര, മുതിർന്ന മുൻ കോൺഗ്രസ് നേതാവായിരുന്ന ഡോ. മനോഹർ കിഷൻ അഖൌരിയുടെയും[8][9] ബിഹാർ ലെജിസ്ലേറ്റീവ് അസംബ്ലിയിലെ മുൻ അംഗമായിരുന്ന മധു ജ്യോത്സ്ന അഖൗരിയുടെയും (മുമ്പ്, മേരി ജോൺ) മൂത്ത മകളാണ്. പ്രിയങ്കയുടെ പരേതയായ മുത്തശി മധു ജ്യോത്സ്ന അഖൌരി കേരളത്തിലെ കോട്ടയം ജില്ലയിലെ കുമരകത്ത് കവളപ്പാറ കുടുംബത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട മേരി ജോൺ[10] എന്നു പേരുള്ള യാക്കോബായ സിറിയൻ ക്രിസ്ത്യാനിയായിരുന്നു.[11][12][13][14][15][16] ബോളിവുഡ് നടിമാരായ പരിണീതി ചോപ്ര, മീര ചോപ്ര, മന്നാര ചോപ്ര എന്നിവരാണ് പ്രിയങ്കയുടെ ബന്ധുക്കളാണ്.[17] ഉത്തർപ്രദേശിലെ ബരേലിയിലുള്ള സെൻറ് മരിയ ഗോരെട്ടിയിലും, യുണൈറ്റഡ് സ്റ്റേറ്റ്സിലുള്ള ന്യൂട്ടൺ നോർത്ത് ഹൈസ്കൂളിലും, നോർത്ത് ഡെൽറ്റയിലുള്ള നോർത്ത് ഡെൽറ്റ സീനിയർ സെകൻഡറി സ്കൂളിലുമായി വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം[18] നേടിയ പ്രിയങ്ക ചോപ്രയുടെ വിളിപ്പേര് മിമി എന്നാണ്.

ലോകസുന്ദരി എന്ന നിലയിൽ തിരുത്തുക

രണ്ടായിരത്തിൽ മിസ് ഇന്ത്യ പട്ടം നേടിയ പ്രിയങ്ക ഇതേ വർഷം തന്നെ ലോകസുന്ദരി പട്ടവും നേടി.[19] ലോകസുന്ദരി പട്ടം നേടുന്ന അഞ്ചാമത്തെ ഇന്ത്യാക്കാരിയാണ് പ്രിയങ്ക ചോപ്ര.

സിനിമാജീവിതം തിരുത്തുക

പ്രിയങ്ക ചോപ്രയുടെ ആദ്യ ഹിന്ദി ചിത്രം അനിൽ ശർമ്മ സം‌വിധാനം ചെയത ദി ഹീറോ:ലവ് സ്റ്റോറി ഓഫ എ സ്പൈ (2003) ആണ്. ഇതേ വർഷത്തിൽ തന്നെ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ അന്താശ് എന്ന ചിത്രമാണ് പ്രിയങ്ക ചോപ്രയുടെ ആദ്യ വിജയ ചിത്രം. ഈ സിനിമയിൽ മികച്ച പുതുമുഖ നടിക്കുള്ള ഫിലിംഫെയർ അവാർഡ് പ്രിയങ്ക ചോപ്രയ്ക്ക് ലഭിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. ഐത്രാശ് (2004), മുജ്സെ ശാദി കരോഗെ (2004), ക്രിഷ് (2006), ഡോൺ-ദി ചേസ് ബിഗെൻസ് എഗൈൻ (2006) എന്നീ ചിത്രങ്ങൾ പ്രിയങ്ക ചോപ്രയുടെ വിജയചിത്രങ്ങളിൽ ചിലതാണ്.
