നാസിക് ഗുഹകൾ
മഹാരാഷ്ട്രയിലെ നാസിക്കിൽ നിന്നും ഏകദേശം 8 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെ ഹിനായന ബുദ്ധ വാസ്തുവിദ്യയിൽ രണ്ടാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിൽ നിർമ്മിച്ചതെന്നു കരുതുന്ന ബുദ്ധ ഗുഹകളാണ് പാണ്ഡവ്‌ലേനി ഗുഹകൾ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ നാസിക് ഗുഹകൾ. 'പാണ്ഡു ഗുഹകൾ' എന്നും ഇതിനെ വിളിക്കാറുണ്ട്. പക്ഷെ ഗുഹകൾക്ക് മഹാഭാരതത്തിലെ നായകന്മാരുമായി യാതൊരു ബന്ധവുമില്ല. പാണ്ഡവ്‌ലേനി മുമ്പ് 'ത്രിരശ്മി ഗുഹകൾ' എന്ന പേരിലായിരുന്നു അറിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നത്. ഈ ഗുഹകളിൽ ഭൂരിഭാഗവും ബുദ്ധന്റെയും ജൈന തീർത്ഥങ്കരന്മാരുടെയും പ്രതിമകളാണ്.[1] ഇവിടുത്തെ പതിനെട്ടാമത്തെ ഗുഹയൊഴികെ ബാക്കിയെല്ലാം ബുദ്ധാശ്രമങ്ങളായിട്ടാണ് പരിഗണിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്.
