ഇന്ത്യൻ ചലച്ചിത്ര നടനും പിന്നണി ഗായകനും ചലച്ചിത്ര നിർമ്മാതാവുമാണ് ദുൽഖർ സൽമാൻ (ജനനം: ജൂലൈ 28, 1983) പ്രധാനമായും മലയാളചലച്ചിത്രരംഗത്താണ് അദ്ദേഹം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നത്. തമിഴ്, തെലുങ്ക്, ഹിന്ദി ഭാഷാ ചിത്രങ്ങളിലും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. സൂപ്പർ മെഗാസ്റ്റാർ മമ്മൂട്ടിയുടെ മകനായ ഇദ്ദേഹം പർഡ്യൂ സർവകലാശാലയിൽ നിന്ന് ബിസിനസ് മാനേജ്‌മെന്റിൽ ബിരുദം നേടി. അഭിനയരംഗത്തെത്തുന്നതിനു മുമ്പ് ബിസിനസ് മാനേജരായി ജോലി ചെയ്തു. നാല് ഫിലിംഫെയർ അവാർഡ് സൗത്തും ഒരു കേരള സ്റ്റേറ്റ് ഫിലിം അവാർഡും നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

ബാരി ജോൺ ആക്ടിംഗ് സ്റ്റുഡിയോയിൽ മൂന്നുമാസത്തെ അഭിനയ കോഴ്‌സിന് ശേഷം 2012-ൽ പ്രദർശനത്തിനെത്തിയ ആക്ഷൻ ചലച്ചിത്രമായ സെക്കന്റ് ഷോയിലൂടെ സിനിമാ രംഗത്തേയ്ക്കുള്ള അരങ്ങേറ്റം നടത്തി. ഇതിലെ അഭിനയത്തിന് മികച്ച നവാഗത നടനുള്ള ഫിലിംഫെയർ അവാർഡ് ലഭിച്ചു. ഉസ്താദ് ഹോട്ടലിലെ (2012) അഭിനയത്തിന് മികച്ച നടനുള്ള ഫിലിംഫെയർ പുരസ്കാരത്തിനായി നാമനിർദ്ദേശം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.

എബിസിഡി: അമേരിക്കൻ-ബോർൺ കൺഫ്യൂസ്ഡ് ദേശി (2013) എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ വാണിജ്യവിജയത്തിനു ശേഷം റോഡ് ത്രില്ലർ ചലച്ചിത്രമായ നീലകാശം പച്ചക്കടൽ ചുവന്ന ഭൂമി (2013), തമിഴ് പ്രണയ-ഹാസ്യചലച്ചിത്രമായ വായ് മൂടി പേശവും (2014) എന്നീ ചിത്രങ്ങളിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ കളക്ഷൻ നേടിയ മലയാള ചിത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നായ ബാംഗ്ലൂർ ഡെയ്സ് (2014) എന്ന പ്രണയചലച്ചിത്രത്തിൽ അദ്ദേഹം അഭിനയിച്ചു. മണിരത്നത്തിന്റെ നിരൂപകപ്രശംസനേടിയ പ്രണയ ചിത്രമായ ഒ കാതൽ കൺമണി (2015) എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെ അദ്ദേഹം തമിഴ് സിനിമയിൽ കൂടുതൽ വിജയം നേടി. തുടർന്ന്, 2015 ലെ പ്രണയ ചലച്ചിത്രമായ ചാർലിയിൽ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച പ്രധാനവേഷത്തിനു പ്രശംസ ലഭിച്ചു. ഇതിലൂടെ മികച്ച നടനുള്ള കേരളസംസ്ഥാന ചലച്ചിത്രപുരസ്കാരം ലഭിച്ചു. മഹാനടി (2018) എന്ന ജീവചരിത്രചിത്രത്തിലൂടെ തെലുങ്ക് സിനിമയിൽ അരങ്ങേറ്റം കുറിച്ചു. ജെമിനി ഗണേശനായാണ് മഹാനടിയിൽ അദ്ദേഹം അഭിനയിച്ചത്. കാർവാൻ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെ 2018-ൽ ബോളിവുഡിൽ അരങ്ങേറ്റം കുറിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് 2019-ൽ ദി സോയ ഫാക്ടർ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന വേഷം അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു.

സൽമാനെ ഒരു ഫാഷൻ ഐക്കണായി മാധ്യമങ്ങൾ അംഗീകരിച്ചു.[1][2] നിരവധി സംരംഭകത്വങ്ങൾ ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിനുണ്ട്.

മുൻകാലജീവിതം തിരുത്തുക

1986 ജൂലൈ 28 ന് ദുൽക്കർ സൽമാൻ ജനിച്ചു.[3] നടൻ മമ്മൂട്ടിയുടെയും ഭാര്യ സുൽഫത്തിന്റെയും രണ്ടാമത്തെ മകനാണ് സൽമാൻ.[4] സുറുമിയാണ് സൽമാന്റെ മൂത്ത സഹോദരി. കൊച്ചിയിലെ വൈറ്റിലയിലെ ടോക്-എച്ച് പബ്ലിക് സ്കൂളിൽ പ്രൈമറി വിദ്യാഭ്യാസവും ചെന്നൈയിലെ ശിഷ്യ സ്കൂളിൽ സെക്കണ്ടറി വിദ്യാഭ്യാസവും പൂർത്തിയാക്ക[5] തുടർന്ന് അമേരിക്കയിലേക്ക് മാറിയ അദ്ദേഹം പർഡ്യൂ സർവകലാശാലയിൽ നിന്ന് ബിസിനസ് മാനേജ്‌മെന്റിൽ ബിരുദം നേടി. ബിരുദാനന്തരം യു.എസിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്യുകയും പിന്നീട് ദുബായിൽ ഐ.ടിയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട ബിസിനസ്സ് നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു. അഭിനയരംഗത്ത് തുടരാൻ അദ്ദേഹം പിന്നീട് തീരുമാനിച്ചു. മുംബൈയിലെ ബാരി ജോൺ ആക്റ്റിംഗ് സ്റ്റുഡിയോയിൽ മൂന്നുമാസത്തെ കോഴ്‌സിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തു.[6] 2012 ൽ ഒരു അഭിമുഖത്തിൽ അദ്ദേഹം അഭിനയം തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തുവെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.[7]

ചലച്ചിത്രജീവിതം തിരുത്തുക

തുടക്കവും പ്രശസ്തിയും അഭിനയത്തിലെ വഴിത്തിരിവും (2012-2013) തിരുത്തുക

2011-ൽ നവാഗതനായ ശ്രീനാഥ് രാജേന്ദ്രന്റെ സെക്കന്റ് ഷോ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിനായി സൽമാൻ കരാർ ഒപ്പുവെച്ചു. അതിൽ ഹരിലാൽ എന്ന ഗുണ്ടയുടെ വേഷമാണ് ദുൽഖർ ചെയ്തത്. 2012 ഫെബ്രുവരി മൂന്നിനായിരുന്നു ദുൽഖർ സൽമാന്റെ മലയാള സിനിമയിലേക്കുള്ള അരങ്ങേറ്റം. ഒരു കൂട്ടം പുതുമുഖങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം പാരമ്പര്യമേതുമില്ലാതെയുള്ള ചലച്ചിത്രപ്രവേശനത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ഒരു അഭിമുഖത്തിൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തോട് ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ തന്റെ ബോധപൂർവമായ തീരുമാനമാണിതെന്നാണ് സൽമാൻ വ്യക്തമാക്കിയത്. "ഒരു നടൻ അരങ്ങേറ്റം കുറിക്കുമ്പോൾ, ഒരു നായകനാകാനുള്ള അവകാശം നേടേണ്ടതുണ്ട്, അത് ഒരു കുറുക്കുവഴിയിലൂടെ ആകരുത്" എന്നതായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ അഭിപ്രായം.[7] ചിത്രത്തിന് സമ്മിശ്ര പ്രതികരണമാണ് ലഭിച്ചത്.[8] ഈ ചിത്രം വാണിജ്യപരമായി വിജയിക്കുകയും മികച്ച നവാഗതനടനുള്ള ഫിലിംഫെയർ അവാർഡ് നേടുകയും ചെയ്തു. അൻവർ റഷീദിന്റെ സംവിധാനത്തിൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഉസ്താദ് ഹോട്ടൽ (2012) ആണ് ദുൽഖർ അടുത്തതായി അഭിനയിച്ച ചിത്രം. മികച്ച ജനപ്രിയ ചലച്ചിത്രത്തിനുള്ള ദേശീയ ചലച്ചിത്ര അവാർഡ് ലഭിച്ച ഈ ചിത്രം ബോക്സോഫീസിൽ വലിയ വിജയമായിരുന്നു.[13] ഫൈസിയെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചതിന് ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിനു പ്രശംസയും ലഭിച്ചു.[14] ദി ന്യൂ ഇന്ത്യൻ എക്സ്പ്രസിനുവേണ്ടി എഴുതിയ അനിൽ ആർ. നായർ ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു; "യുവത്വവും ഗ്ലാമറസുമായ ദുൽഖർ ഫെയ്‌സിയുടെ വേഷത്തിൽ പിതാവിന്റെ നിഴലിൽ നിന്ന് പുറത്തുവന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്."[15] ഈ ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെ മികച്ച നടനുള്ള ഫിലിംഫെയർ അവാർഡിനായി ദുൽഖറിനെ ആദ്യമായി നാമനിർദ്ദേശം ചെയ്തു.[16] രൂപേഷ് പീതാംബരൻ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത ക്രൈം ത്രില്ലറായ തീവ്രമാണ് മൂന്നാമതായി പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ചിത്രം. 2012 നവംബറിൽ റിലീസ് ചെയ്ത ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന് സമ്മിശ്ര പ്രതികരണമാണ് ലഭിച്ചത്. ഈ ചിത്രം ബോക്സ് ഓഫീസിൽ പരാജയപ്പെട്ടു.[17]

2013-ൽ മാർട്ടിൻ പ്രക്കാട്ടിന്റെ ഹാസ്യചലച്ചിത്രമായ എ.ബി.സി.ഡി: അമേരിക്കൻ ബോൺ കൺഫ്യൂസ്ഡ് ഡെസി എന്ന സിനിമയിൽ അഭിനയിക്കാൻ അദ്ദേഹം ഒപ്പുവച്ചു. ഗാനവും സിനിമയും ജനപ്രിയമായി.[8][18]ചിത്രത്തിന് സമ്മിശ്ര പ്രതികരണമാണ് ലഭിച്ചതെങ്കിലും ദുൽഖറിന്റെ അഭിനയം നിരൂപകപ്രശംസ നേടി. സിഫി പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു: "ഇത് എല്ലാ രീതിയിലും ദുൽക്കർ സൽമാന്റെ പ്രകടനമാണ്, അദ്ദേഹം തന്റെ ഹൃദയവും ആത്മാവും കഥാപാത്രത്തിനായി നൽകി.[19] 2013-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ 5 സുന്ദരികൾ (2013) എന്ന മലയാള ലഘുചിത്രസമാഹാരത്തിൽ അമൽ നീരദ് സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത കുള്ളന്റെ ഭാര്യ എന്ന ചലച്ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായിരുന്നു ദുൽഖർ.[20] കുള്ളന്റെ ഭാര്യയെ പ്രത്യേകം പ്രശംസിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ ചിത്രം നിരൂപക പ്രശംസ നേടി. ടൈംസ് ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യയിലെ അശ്വിൻ ജെ. കുമാർ ഇങ്ങനെ എഴുതി; "... ഇതൊരു പേരില്ലാത്ത സ്ത്രീയുടെ കഥയാണ്, 'കുള്ളന്റെ ഭാര്യ' കാഴ്ചക്കാരനോടൊപ്പം നിൽക്കുന്നു." വീൽചെയറിൽ കഴിയുന്ന ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫർ എന്ന നിലയിൽ ദുൽഖറിന്റെ പ്രകടനത്തെയും അദ്ദേഹം പ്രശംസിച്ചു.[21] റോഡ് മൂവിയായ നീലകാശം പച്ചക്കടൽ ചുവന്ന ഭൂമിയിലൂടെ 2013-ൽ ദുൽഖർ സമീർ താഹിറുമായി സഹകരിച്ചു.[22] ഈ ചിത്രവും ദുൽഖറിന്റെ അഭിനയവും പ്രശംസ പിടിച്ചുപറ്റി.[23] ഛായാഗ്രാഹകൻ അളകപ്പന്റെ പ്രണയചിത്രമായ പട്ടം പോലെയിലൂടെ ദുൽഖർ ആദ്യമായി പ്രണയചിത്രത്തിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചു. 2013-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഈ ചിത്രത്തിൽ നവാഗതയായ മാളവിക മോഹനൻ നായികയായി അഭിനയിച്ചു. വാണിജ്യപരമായി ഈ ചിത്രം പരാജയമായിരുന്നു.[18][24]

2014 മുതൽ തിരുത്തുക

2014-ൽ സലാല മൊബൈൽസ് എന്ന മറ്റൊരു പ്രണയചിത്രത്തിൽ ദുൽഖർ അഭിനയിച്ചു. ഇതിൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ നായികയായി നസ്രിയ നസീം ആണ് അഭിനയിച്ചത്. പട്ടം പോലെ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ പോലെ തന്നെ ഇതിനും കൂടുതൽ വിജയം നേടാനായില്ല.[24] തമിഴ്-മലയാളം ദ്വിഭാഷാ ചിത്രമായി പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ വായ് മൂടി പേശവും (2014) എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലായിരുന്നു ദുൽഖറിന്റെ അടുത്ത വേഷം. ഇതിന്റെ മലയാളം പതിപ്പായി ഇറങ്ങിയ സംസാരം ആരോഗ്യത്തിനു ഹാനികരം പരാജയപ്പെട്ടെങ്കിലും തമിഴ് പതിപ്പിന് മികച്ച പ്രതികരണം ലഭിക്കുകയും ചിത്രം സ്ലീപ്പർ ഹിറ്റായി മാറുകയും ചെയ്തു.[25][26] ദുൽഖർ കാണാനുള്ള ഒരു വിരുന്നാണെന്ന് ഇൻഡോ-ഏഷ്യൻ ന്യൂസ് സർവ്വീസ് അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു. "സ്വന്തം ശബ്ദത്തിൽ ഡബ്ബ് ചെയ്യുന്നതിനും കുറ്റമറ്റ തമിഴ് സംസാരിക്കുന്നതിനും അദ്ദേഹം അധിക ബ്രൗണി പോയിന്റുകൾ നേടുന്നു." എന്നും ന്യൂസ് സർവ്വീസ് കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.[27] ഈ ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെ മികച്ച രണ്ടാമത്തെ നടനുള്ള ഫിലിംഫെയർ അവാർഡ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ലഭിച്ചു.[28]

2014-ൽ അഞ്ജലി മേനോന്റെ പ്രണയ-ഹാസ്യചലച്ചിത്രമായ ബാംഗ്ലൂർ ഡെയ്സിൽ ദുൽഖർ സൽമാൻ അർജുൻ എന്ന കഥാപാത്രത്തെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു. നിവിൻ പോളിയും നസ്രിയ നസീമും ഇതിൽ അർജുന്റെ സ്വന്തക്കാരായി അഭിനയിച്ചു. ഈ ചിത്രം മികച്ച നിരൂപക പ്രശംസ നേടിക്കൊണ്ട് എക്കാലത്തേയും ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ വരുമാനം നേടിയ മലയാള ചിത്രങ്ങളിലൊന്നായി മാറി. ഏകദേശം 45 കോടി ഇന്ത്യൻ രൂപ വരുമാനം നേടി.[29] അതേ വർഷം തന്നെ ലാൽ ജോസിന്റെ വിക്രമാദിത്യനിൽ ഉണ്ണി മുകുന്ദനൊപ്പം അഭിനയിച്ചു. ഈ ചിത്രം സാമ്പത്തിക വിജയമായിരുന്നു.[25] തുടർന്ന് അഭിനയിച്ച രഞ്ജിത്തിന്റെ ഞാൻ (2014) എന്ന സിനിമയിലെ വേഷത്തെ ദുൽഖർ "തന്റെ ഇതുവരെയുള്ള ഏറ്റവും വെല്ലുവിളി നിറഞ്ഞ കഥാപാത്രം" എന്ന് വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ചു.[30] ദുൽഖറിന്റെ അഭിനയത്തിന് അനുകൂലമായ നിരൂപണങ്ങൾ ലഭിക്കുകയും ഫിലിംഫെയറിന്റെ മികച്ച രണ്ടാമത്തെ നടനുള്ള നാമനിർദ്ദേശം ഉൾപ്പെടെ നിരവധി അംഗീകാരങ്ങൾ നേടുകയും ചെയ്തു.[8][31]

2015-ൽ ജെനുസ് മുഹമ്മദിന്റെ പ്രണയ-ഹാസ്യചിത്രമായ 100 ഡെയ്സ് ഓഫ് ലവ്, മണിരത്നത്തിന്റെ തമിഴ് പ്രണയചിത്രമായ ഓ കാതൽ കണ്മണി എന്നീ ചിത്രങ്ങളിൽ നിത്യാ മേനനൊപ്പം രണ്ട് ചിത്രങ്ങളിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചു.[32] ഓ കാതൽ കണ്മണി മികച്ച നിരൂപണങ്ങൾക്കു പാത്രമാകുകയും ബോക്സോഫീസിൽ വിജയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.[33] മണി രത്നത്തിന്റെ "ഓ കാതൽ കണ്മണി " എന്ന ഈ സിനിമയിലൂടെ ദുൽഖർ തമിഴ് സിനിമയിലേക്ക് അരങ്ങേറ്റം നടത്തുകയായിരുന്നു..ഈ സിനിമയിലൂടെ ദുൽഖർ കേരളത്തിന്‌ പുറത്തും ശ്രദ്ധയും നിരൂപക പ്രശംസയും നേടി.മാർട്ടിൻ പ്രക്കാട്ടിന്റെ ചാർലി (2015) എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലാണ് ദുൽഖർ പിന്നീട് അഭിനയിച്ചത്. ഈ ചിത്രം മികച്ച നിരൂപക പ്രശംസ നേടി. എട്ട് കേരള സംസ്ഥാന ചലച്ചിത്ര അവാർഡുകളും ചിത്രത്തിനു ലഭിച്ചു. ഇതിലൂടെ ദുൽഖറിന് ആദ്യമായി മികച്ച നടനുള്ള കേരളസംസ്ഥാന പുരസ്കാരം ലഭിച്ചു.[34] ഫിലിംഫെയർ അവാർഡിൽ മൂന്നാമത്തെ മികച്ച നടനുള്ള നാമനിർദ്ദേശവും ദുൽഖറിനു ലഭിച്ചു.[35]

സമീർ താഹിറിന്റെ സംവിധാനത്തിൽ ദുൽഖറുമായി ചേർന്ന് രണ്ടാമതായി പുറത്തിറക്കിയ കലി എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിൽ സായി പല്ലവിയായിരുന്നു ദുൽഖറിന്റെ നായിക. റിലീസ് ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ ഈ ചിത്രം ഒരു മലയാള ചിത്രത്തിന് ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ ബോക്സ് ഓഫീസ് വരുമാനം നേടുന്ന ചിത്രമായി.[36] തുടർന്ന് രാജീവ് രവിയുടെ ആക്ഷൻ ചലച്ചിത്രമായ കമ്മട്ടിപ്പാടം (2016) ആയിരുന്നു ദുൽഖറിന്റെ അടുത്ത ചിത്രം. ഈ ചിത്രം നിരൂപക പ്രശംസ നേടി. രണ്ട് വർഷത്തിനുള്ളിൽ തുടർച്ചയായ മൂന്നാമത്തെ സാമ്പത്തിക വിജയമായി ഈ ചിത്രം മാറി.[37]

തുടർന്ന് സത്യൻ അന്തിക്കാടിന്റെ കുടുംബചിത്രമായ ജോമോന്റെ സുവിശേഷങ്ങൾ (2017) എന്ന സിനിമയിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചു.[38] 2016-ലെ മലയാളചലച്ചിത്രമായ ജേക്കബിന്റെ സ്വർഗരാജ്യവുമായി താരതമ്യപ്പെടുത്തിയെങ്കിലും[39] ഈ ചിത്രം സാമ്പത്തികമായി മികച്ച വിജയം നേടി.[40] അമൽ നീരദിന്റെ ആക്ഷൻ-അഡ്വഞ്ചർ ചിത്രമായ കോമ്രേഡ് ഇൻ അമേരിക്കയിൽ (2017) ആയിരുന്നു ദുൽഖറിന്റെ അടുത്ത വേഷം. ദ ഹിന്ദു ദിനപ്പത്രം ഈ ചിത്രത്തെ "ദുൽഖറുടെ 2017-ലെ വലിയ ഹിറ്റ്" എന്ന് വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ചു.[41] തുടർന്ന് ബെജോയ് നമ്പ്യാർ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത മലയാള-തമിഴ് ദ്വിഭാഷാ ചലച്ചിത്രസമാഹാരമായ സോളോയിൽ (2017) നാല് വേഷങ്ങൾ ദുൽഖർ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു. ഈ സിനിമ വിമർശനാത്മകമായി ചിത്രീകരിക്കപ്പെടുകയും[42] ചിത്രം പരാജയപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തു.[43]

2018-ൽ നടി സാവിത്രിയുടെ ജീവചരിത്രമായ മഹാനടി എന്ന തെലുങ്ക് ചിത്രത്തിലാണ് ദുൽഖർ അടുത്തതായി അഭിനയിച്ചത്. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ തെലുങ്കിലെ ആദ്യ ചിത്രമായ മഹാനടി നിരൂപകരിൽ നിന്ന് മികച്ച പ്രശംസനേടി ബോക്സോഫീസിൽ മികച്ച സാമ്പത്തിക വിജയം നേടി. ദുൽഖറിന്റെ ജെമിനി ഗണേശന്റെ വേഷവും പ്രശംസ പിടിച്ചുപറ്റി.[44] തുടർന്ന് വർഷാവസാനം ദുൽഖർ കാർവാനിലൂടെ ഹിന്ദി ചലച്ചിത്ര രംഗത്തെത്തി. ചിത്രത്തിന് സമ്മിശ്ര പ്രതികരണമാണ് ലഭിച്ചതെങ്കിലും ദുൽഖറിന്റെ അഭിനയം പ്രശംസ നേടി.[45]

2019-ൽ ബി.സി. നൗഫൽ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത മലയാളം ഹാസ്യ-പ്രണയചിത്രമായ ഒരു യമണ്ടൻ പ്രേമകഥയിൽ അദ്ദേഹം അഭിനയിച്ചു.[46] കാർവാന് ശേഷം ദുൽഖറിന്റെ അടുത്ത ബോളിവുഡ് ചിത്രമായ ദി സോയ ഫാക്ടർ 2019 സെപ്റ്റംബറിൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങി.[47] അനുജ ചൗഹാന്റെ നോവലായ ദ സോയ ഫാക്ടർ അഭിഷേക് ശർമ ചലച്ചിത്രമാക്കി പുറത്തിറക്കിയത് കാര്യമായി ശ്രദ്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടില്ല. എങ്കിലും ദുൽഖറിന്റെ ഈ ചിത്രത്തിലെ അഭിനയം പ്രശംസ പിടിച്ചുപറ്റി.[48][49] 2019-ൽ തമിഴ് ചിത്രങ്ങളായ വാൻ, കണ്ണും കണ്ണും കൊള്ളയടിത്താൽ എന്നിവയും ദുൽഖറിന്റേതായി പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയവയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു.[50][51][52]

2020-ൽ ദുൽഖറിന്റെ നിർമ്മാണ കമ്പനിയായ വേഫെയറർ ചലച്ചിത്ര നിർമ്മാണം ആരംഭിച്ചു. നിർമ്മാതാവും അഭിനേതാവുമായി അദ്ദേഹം ആദ്യമായി പുറത്തിറക്കിയ കുടുംബ ചലച്ചിത്രമായിരുന്നു വരനെ ആവശ്യമുണ്ട്. സുരേഷ് ഗോപി, ശോഭന, കല്യാണി പ്രിയദർശൻ എന്നിവർ ദുൽഖറിനൊപ്പം പ്രധാന വേഷങ്ങൾ അഭിനയിച്ചു. 2020-ൽ പ്രദർശനത്തിനെത്തിയ ഈ ചിത്രം ശ്രദ്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടു.[53]

നിർമ്മാതാവെന്ന നിലയിൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മറ്റൊരു ചിത്രമായിരുന്നു ഷംസു സായിബയുടെ സംവിധാനത്തിലിറങ്ങിയ ഹാസ്യ-പ്രണയചിത്രമായ മണിയറയിലെ അശോകൻ. ഇത് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ നിർമ്മാണ കമ്പനിയായ വേഫെയർ ഫിലിംസ് വഴിയാണ് നിർമ്മിച്ചത്. ജേക്കബ് ഗ്രിഗറിയും അനുപമ പരമേശ്വരനും പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു.[54][55] പുറത്തിറങ്ങാനിരിക്കുന്ന ക്രൈം ത്രില്ലർ ചലച്ചിത്രമായ കുറുപ്പിൽ ദുൽഖർ അഭിനയിക്കുന്നു. ഈ ചിത്രത്തിൽ അദ്ദേഹം സുകുമാരക്കുറുപ്പിന്റെ വേഷമാണ് അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. ദുൽഖറിന്റെ മൂന്നാമത്തെ നിർമ്മാണ സംരംഭമാണിത്.[56][57][58][59][60]

വ്യക്തിജീവിതം തിരുത്തുക

2011 ഡിസംബർ 22-ന് ദുൽഖർ ആർക്കിടെക്ടായ അമൽ സുഫിയയെ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു.[61] ചെന്നൈയിൽ സ്ഥിരതാമസമാക്കിയ ഉത്തരേന്ത്യൻ മുസ്ലീം കുടുംബമാണ് അമലിന്റേത്.[62][63] ദമ്പതികൾക്ക് 2017 മേയ് മാസത്തിൽ ഒരു മകൾ ജനിച്ചു.[64]

നിരവധി സാമൂഹിക സേവന പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിലും അദ്ദേഹം പങ്കാളിയായി. കേരള മോട്ടോർ വെഹിക്കിൾ ഡിപ്പാർട്ട്‌മെന്റിന്റെ സേഫ് റൈഡിങ് കാമ്പയിനിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി അദ്ദേഹം ഒരു ഹ്രസ്വചിത്രത്തിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.[65] ചെന്നൈ ഗിവ്സ് സംരംഭത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി വസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ, ചെരിപ്പുകൾ, പുസ്തകങ്ങൾ, സ്കൂൾ സാധനങ്ങൾ, ക്രോക്കറി വസ്തുക്കൾ എന്നിവയുൾപ്പെടെ 150 ഇനങ്ങൾ അദ്ദേഹം സംഭാവന ചെയ്തു.[66] കൂടാതെ കാറുകൾ വിൽക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള ഒരു വെബ് പോർട്ടലിന്റെയും ചെന്നൈയിലെ ഒരു ഡെന്റൽ ബിസിനസ് ശൃംഖലയുടെയും ഉടമയാണ് ദുൽഖർ.[67] ബാംഗ്ലൂർ ആസ്ഥാനമായുള്ള മദർഹുഡ് ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിന്റെ ഡയറക്ടറാണ് അദ്ദേഹം.[3]

മാധ്യമങ്ങളിൽ തിരുത്തുക

2016 ലെ ഏറ്റവും സ്വാധീനമുള്ള 50 യുവ ഇന്ത്യക്കാരുടെ പട്ടികയിൽ ദുൽഖർ ജിക്യുവിന്റെ നാലാം സ്ഥാനത്തെത്തി.[68][69][70] 2016-ലെ മികച്ച വസ്ത്രധാരണത്തിൽ പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ പട്ടികയിൽ ജിക്യു ദുൽഖറിനെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു.[71][72][73] ദ ടൈംസ് ഗ്രൂപ്പിന്റെ അനുബന്ധ സ്ഥാപനമായ കൊച്ചി ടൈംസ് 2013-ലും 2014-ലും അദ്ദേഹത്തെ "മോസ്റ്റ് ഡിസയറബിൾ മാൻ" ആയി തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു.[74][75] 2019-ൽ വോഗ് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ഒക്ടോബർ പതിപ്പിൽ മുഖചിത്രത്തിൽ വരുന്ന കേരളത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ആദ്യ നടനായി ദുൽഖർ മാറി.[76]
