അമേരിക്കൻ ഊർജ്ജതന്ത്രജ്ഞനും ദാർശനികനുമായിരുന്നു തോമസ് കുൻ.(ജൂലൈ 18, 1922 – ജൂൺ 17, 1996).ശാസ്ത്രചരിത്ര വിജ്ഞാനം,ശാസ്ത്രതത്വങ്ങളുടെ ആവിർഭാവം എന്നിവയിൽ ആഴത്തിലുള്ള പഠനം നടത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.The Structure of Scientific Revolutions എന്നതാണ് പ്രധാനകൃതി.
