ചാൾസ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി, പ്രാഗ്
ചാൾസ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി അഥവാ ചാൾസ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി ഇൻ പ്രാഗ് (Univerzita Karlova; Universitas Carolina; Karls-Universität) ചെക് റിപ്പബ്ലിക്കിലെ ഏറ്റവും പഴയ സർവകലാശാലയാണ്. ചരിത്രപരമായി യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി ഓഫ് പ്രാഗ് (Universitas Pragensis) എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. 1348-ൽ സ്ഥാപിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഇത് മധ്യ യൂറോപ്പിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ സർവകലാശാലയായിരുന്നു.[3] തുടർച്ചയായ പ്രവർത്തന ചരിത്രമുള്ള ഈ സർവ്വകലാശാല, യൂറോപ്പിലെ ഏറ്റവും പഴയ സർവ്വകലാശാലകളിൽ ഒന്നും ലോകത്തെ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച സർവ്വകലാശാലകളിൽ 1.5% ഉയർന്ന റാങ്കുമുള്ളതാണ്.[4][5]
