ആഗ്നസ് ചൗ

ഒരു ഹോങ്കോംഗ് രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരിയും സാമൂഹിക പ്രവർത്തകയുമാണ് ആഗ്നസ് ചൗ ടിംഗ് (ചൈനീസ്: 周 庭, ജനനം 3 ഡിസംബർ 1996). അവർ ഡെമോസിസ്റ്റോയുടെ സ്റ്റാൻഡിംഗ് കമ്മിറ്റി മുൻ അംഗവും സ്കോളറിസത്തിന്റെ മുൻ വക്താവുമാണ്. ഹോങ്കോങ്ങിനായി അവരുടെ പാർട്ടിയുടെ സ്വയം നിർണ്ണയാവകാശം വാദിച്ചതിനാൽ 2018-ലെ ഹോങ്കോംഗ് ദ്വീപ് ഉപതിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിനായുള്ള അവരുടെ സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥിത്വം, പ്രോ-ഡെമോക്രസി ക്യാമ്പിന്റെ പിന്തുണയോടെ അധികാരികൾ തടഞ്ഞു.[2]

[3] ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് ചെറുപ്പക്കാർ മാറ്റത്തിനായി പ്രക്ഷോഭം നടത്തുന്ന ഒരു ഫേസ്ബുക്ക് പോസ്റ്റിൽ നിന്ന് പ്രചോദനം ഉൾക്കൊണ്ടാണ് അവളുടെ സാമൂഹിക പ്രവർത്തനം 15 വയസ്സിൽ തുടങ്ങിയത്. [4] ചൗയുടെ അഭിപ്രായത്തിൽ, അവളുടെ കത്തോലിക്കാ വളർത്തൽ സാമൂഹിക പ്രസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ അവളുടെ പങ്കാളിത്തത്തെ സ്വാധീനിച്ചു. [5]

2014 -ൽ ചൗ ഹോങ്കോംഗ് ബാപ്റ്റിസ്റ്റ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിൽ നിന്ന് ഗവൺമെന്റും അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ബന്ധങ്ങളും എന്ന വിഷയത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് പഠിച്ചു. [6] ഹോങ്കോംഗ് ദ്വീപ് ഉപതെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ മത്സരിക്കുന്നതിനായി 2018 ൽ ചൗ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി പഠനം അവസാന വർഷത്തേക്ക് മാറ്റിവച്ചു. [7] ചൗ തന്റെ ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് ദേശീയതയും ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു. അടിസ്ഥാന നിയമം അനുശാസിക്കുന്ന ഒരു യോഗ്യതാ ആവശ്യകതയായിരുന്നു ഇത്. [8]
