അമിഷി ഝാ അമേരിക്കൻ ഐക്യനാടുകളിലെ മിയാമി സർവ്വകലാശാലയിലെ മനശ്ശാസ്ത്രത്തിലെ അസോസിയേറ്റ് പ്രൊഫസ്സർ ആകുന്നു. ശ്രദ്ധ, പ്രവർത്തനാധിഷ്ഠിത ഓർമ്മ ( working memory), ധ്യാനം (mindfulness) തുടങ്ങിയവയെപ്പറ്റി ഗവേഷണം നടത്തുകയും എക്സിക്യുട്ടീവെ പ്രവർത്തനത്തിന്റെ (executive functioning ) നാഡീസംബന്ധമായ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തെപ്പറ്റിയും ഗവേഷണം നടത്തി.
