ആമസോൺ മഴക്കാടുകളിൽ കാണപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരിനം സസ്യമാണ് കുപ്പാസു - cupuassu (ശാസ്ത്രീയനാമം: Theobroma grandiflorum).^[1] ഇവ കൊക്കോയുടെ കുടുംബത്തിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. കട്ടികുറഞ്ഞ തായ്ത്തടിയോടെ 16 അടിയിലേറെ ഉയരത്തിൽ വളരുന്നു.
