ഇന്ത്യൻ ഹിസ്റ്ററി കോൺഗ്രസ്

35,000 അംഗങ്ങളുള്ള ഇന്ത്യൻ ചരിത്രകാരന്മാരുടെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പ്രൊഫഷണൽ, അക്കാദമിക് സ്ഥാപനമാണ് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഹിസ്റ്ററി കോൺഗ്രസ് . 1935 ലാണ് ഇത് സ്ഥാപിതമായത്. [1] ഇതിൽ പുതിയ അംഗത്വത്തിനായി നിലവിലുള്ള അംഗങ്ങൾ നാമനിർദ്ദേശം ചെയ്യുകയും പിന്താങ്ങുകയും വേണ്ടതുണ്ട്. [2]

ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് കൊളോണിയൽ ഭരണകാലത്ത് പൂനയിലെ ചരിത്രകാരന്മാർ മുൻകൈ എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടാണ് സംഘടന സ്ഥപിക്കപ്പെട്ടത്. കോൺഗ്രസിന്റെ ആദ്യ സെഷൻ 1935 ൽ പൂനയിലെ ഭാരത് ഇതിഹാസ് സംശോധക് മണ്ഡലിലാണ് നടന്നത്. ദത്തോ വാമൻ പോട്ട്ദാർ, സുരേന്ദ്ര നാഥ് സെൻ, ഷഫാത്ത് അഹ്മദ് ഖാൻ തുടങ്ങിയ ചരിത്രകാരന്മാർ ആദ്യ സെഷനിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തു. [3]

ചരിത്രകാരന്മാരായ മുഹമ്മദ് ഹബീബ്, സുസോഭൻ സർക്കാർ, നൂറുൽ ഹസൻ, രാം ശരൺ ശർമ, രാധാകൃഷ്ണ ചൗധരി, സതീഷ് ചന്ദ്ര, ബിപാൻ ചന്ദ്ര, റോമില ഥാപ്പർ, ഇർഫാൻ ഹബീബ്, അഥർ അലി, ബറൂൺ ദേ, ഇക്തിദാർ ആലം ഖാൻ, ബി.എൻ. മുഖർജി, കെ എൻ പണിക്കർ, ദ്വിജേന്ദ്ര നാരായണ ജാ, സുമിത് സർക്കാർ, സബ്യാസാചി ഭട്ടാചാര്യ, പ്രീതം സൈനി [4] എന്നിവർക്ക് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഹിസ്റ്ററി കോൺഗ്രസുമായി ദീർഘകാല ബന്ധമുണ്ട്.
