ലാർജ് ഇന്ത്യൻ സിവെറ്റ്
തെക്കും തെക്കുകിഴക്കൻ ഏഷ്യയിലേയും സ്വദേശിയായ ഒരു വെരുക് സ്പീഷീസാണ് ലാർജ് ഇന്ത്യൻ സിവെറ്റ് (Viverra zibetha). ഐ.യു.സി.എൻ. റെഡ് ലിസ്റ്റിലെ ആശങ്കാജനകമല്ലാത്ത ജീവിവർഗ്ഗങ്ങളിൽപ്പെട്ടവയാണ് ഇത്. വിഭജിത പ്രദേശങ്ങൾ, പ്രത്യേകിച്ചും ചൈനയിലും, മറ്റും മാംസത്തിന്റെ വ്യാപാരത്തിനായി കെണി ഉപയോഗിച്ചു ഭീമമായി വേട്ടയാടപ്പെടുന്നതിനാൽ ഇതിൻറെ ആഗോള ജനസംഖ്യ പ്രധാനമായും കുറയുന്നതായി കരുതപ്പെടുന്നു.[1]
