രുസ്തംജി ബോമൻജി ബില്ലിമോറിയ
ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ ഡോക്ടറും സാമൂഹ്യപ്രവർത്തകനും, മഹാരാഷ്ട്രയിലെ ഒരു ഹിൽസ്റ്റേഷനായ പഞ്ചഗണിയിൽ ഒരു ക്ഷയരോഗ സാനിറ്റോറിയം ആയ ബേൽ-എയർ ഹോസ്പിറ്റൽ സ്ഥാപിച്ചയാളുമാണ് രുസ്തംജി ബോമൻജി ബില്ലിമോറിയ.[1] 1882 മെയ് 13 ന് മുംബൈയിൽ ബോമൻജി ജംഷെഡ്ജി ബില്ലിമോറിയയിൽ ജനിച്ചു.[2] ബില്ലിമോറിയ ചികിൽസ തന്റെ തൊഴിലായി സ്വീകരിച്ചു, 1912 ൽ പഞ്ചഗാനിയിലെ ഡാൽകീത്തിൽ ക്ഷയരോഗ ചികിത്സയ്ക്കായി ഒരു സാനിറ്റോറിയം സ്ഥാപിച്ചു. [3] 250 കിടക്കകളുള്ള ആരോഗ്യ സംരക്ഷണ കേന്ദ്രമായി ഈ സൗകര്യം വളർന്നു. ഇന്ത്യൻ റെഡ് ക്രോസ് സൊസൈറ്റിയാണ് ഇത് കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്നത്. അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു സാമൂഹികപ്രവർത്തകയും പത്മഭൂഷൺ സ്വീകർത്താവുമായ ഗുലിസ്ഥാൻ രുസ്തമിനെയാണ് അദ്ദേഹം വിവാഹം ചെയ്തത്.[4][5] വൈദ്യശാസ്ത്രത്തിന് നൽകിയ സംഭാവനകൾക്ക് 1961 ൽ ഏറ്റവും ഉയർന്ന മൂന്നാമത്തെ സിവിലിയൻ ബഹുമതിയായ പദ്മഭൂഷൻ ഇന്ത്യൻ സർക്കാർ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് നൽകി.
