മസാഹിരോ ഹാര
ഒരു ജാപ്പനീസ് എഞ്ചിനീയർ ആണ് മസാഹിരോ ഹാര. ഇന്ന് ഏറെ ഉപയോഗിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ഒന്നാണ് ക്യൂആ‍ർ കോഡ് (ക്വിക്ക് റെസ്പോൺസ് കോഡ്). 1994 ൽ ഈ ദ്വിമാന ബാർകോഡിങ്ങ് ബാർകോഡിങ്ങ് രീതി കണ്ടുപിടിച്ച സാങ്കേതിക വിദഗ്ദനാണ് മസാഹിരോ ഹാര.[1] [2]

1957ൽ ടോക്കിയോയിലാണ് ഹാര ജനിച്ചത്.[3] ഹോസെയ് യൂണിവേഴ്‌സിറ്റി ഇലക്ട്രിക് ആൻഡ് ഇലക്ട്രോണിക് എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് വിഭാഗത്തിലാണ് അദ്ദേഹം പഠിച്ചത്.[1][4] 1980 ൽ അദ്ദേഹം ബിരുദം നേടി.[5]

ഹൊസെയ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിൽ നിന്ന് ബിരുദം നേടിയ ശേഷം ഹാര, ടൊയോട്ട ഗ്രൂപ്പിന്റെ ഉപസ്ഥാപനമായ ജാപ്പനീസ് കമ്പനിയായ ഡെൻസോയിൽ ജോലി ആരംഭിച്ചു. അന്നുമുതൽ, ഹാര ഒരു ബാർകോഡ് സംവിധാനം വികസിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി.[6] 1992-ൽ, ഡെൻസോയുടെ ഡെവലപ്പിംഗ് ഡിപ്പാർട്ട്‌മെന്റിൽ (പിന്നീട് Denso Wave), ഓട്ടോമോട്ടീവ് വ്യവസായത്തിൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ഘടകങ്ങളെ ഉൽപ്പാദനപരമായി ട്രാക്കുചെയ്യാൻ കഴിവുള്ള ഒരു പുതിയ 2D കോഡ് സിസ്റ്റം വികസിപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള ചുമതല ഹാരയെ ഏൽപ്പിച്ചു.[7][8][9][10] ഒരു ദിവസം ജോലിസ്ഥലത്ത്, ഗോ എന്ന ഗെയിമിന്റെ ബ്ലാക്ക് ആൻഡ് വൈറ്റ് പാറ്റേൺ വിവരങ്ങൾ എൻകോഡ് ചെയ്യാൻ ഉപയോഗിക്കാമെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞു.[6] 1994 ലാണ് കോഡ് ആദ്യമായി അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്.[11]

2014-ൽ, അദ്ദേഹത്തിനും ക്യുആർ കോഡ് ഡെവലപ്‌മെന്റ് ടീമിലെ മറ്റ് കണ്ടുപിടുത്തക്കാർക്കും യൂറോപ്യൻ ഇൻവെന്റർ അവാർഡ് ലഭിച്ചു.[12]
