അഞ്ച് മുതൽ ആറ് ഇഞ്ച് വരെ ഉയരമുള്ള കുരങ്ങു വർഗ്ഗമാണ് പിഗ്മി മാർമോസെറ്റ്.(Pygmy marmoset) ബ്രസീൽ, കൊളംബിയ, ഇക്വഡോർ, പെറു തുടങ്ങിയയിടങ്ങളിലെ ആമോസോൺ മഴക്കാടുകളിലാണ് ഇവ ധാരാളമായി കണ്ടു വരുന്നത്. ലോകത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും ചെറിയ കുരങ്ങുവർഗമാണിവ.
