തുടക്ക കാംബ്രിയാൻ കാലത്ത് ജീവിച്ചിരുന്ന ഇപ്പോൾ മൺ മറഞ്ഞതുമായ ഒരു പുരാതന ജീവി വർഗം ആണ് ദിനോകാരിഡിഡാ.[derivation 1] ഇവ കടൽ ജീവികൾ ആയിരുന്നു . കണവ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്ന അതെ മാതൃകയിൽ ആയിരിക്കണം വെള്ളത്തിൽ ചലിച്ചിരുന്നത് എന്ന് ഇവയുടെ ശരീരത്തിന്റെ ഫോസിൽ പഠനത്തിൽ നിന്നും കണ്ടെത്തുകയുണ്ടായി. [1]
