തവിട്ടു പാറ്റപിടിയൻ
തവിട്ടുപാറ്റപിടിയന്[3] [4][5][6] ആംഗലത്തിലെ പേര് Asian Brown Flycatcher എന്നും ശാസ്ത്രീയ നാമം Muscicapa latirostris എന്നുമാണ്. പ്രാണികളെ ഭക്ഷിക്കുന്ന ഈ പക്ഷി ഹിമാലയം, ജപ്പാൻ, സൈബീരിയ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ പ്രജനനം നടത്തുന്നു. തണുപ്പുകാലത്ത് ഇവ തെക്കേ ഇന്ത്യയും ശ്രീലങ്കയും മുതൽ കിഴക്ക് ഇന്തോനേഷ്യ വരെ ദേശാടനം നടത്തുന്നു.

വാൽ അടക്കം 13 സെ.മീ നീളമുണ്ട്. കൊക്ക് കറുത്തതും വലുതും കടഭാഗം വീതിയുള്ളതും ആണ്. മുതിർന്നവയ്ക്ക് ചാരനിറം കലർന്ന തവിട്ടു നിറമാണ്. അടിവശം വെള്ള നിറവുമാണ്.

പ്രജനനം തിരുത്തുക
തുറസ്സായ കാടുകളിലൊ കൃഷിസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലൊ കാണുന്നു. മരപ്പൊത്തിലുണ്ടാക്കിയ കൂട്ടിൽ നാലു മുട്ടകൾ ഇടും. പിടയാണ് അടയിരിക്കുന്നത്.
