കൊറലൈൻ അഡാ എംകി, അമേരിക്കൻ ഐക്യനാടുകളിലെ ഷിക്കാഗോ കേന്ദ്രമായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ഒരു സോഫ്റ്റ്‍വെയർ ഡെവലപ്പറും ഓപ്പൺ സോഴ്‌സ് അഭിഭാഷകയുമാണ്. [1] 1994 ൽ ഒരു വെബ് ഡെവലപ്പറായി ഔദ്യോഗിക ജീവിതം ആരംഭിച്ച അവർ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ്, കൺസൾട്ടിംഗ്, വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം, പരസ്യം , ആരോഗ്യ സംരക്ഷണം, സോഫ്റ്റ്‍വെയർ വികസനം തുടങ്ങി വിവിധ മേഖലകളിൽ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. റൂബിയിലുള്ള പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിലുടെയാണ് ഇവർ പ്രശസ്തയായത്, 2016 ൽ റൂബി ഓൺ റെയിൽ‌സ് ഡെവലപ്പർ‌മാർക്കായുള്ള കോൺ‌ഫറൻ‌സായ റെയിൽ‌കോൺ‌ഫിൽ വച്ച് റൂബി ഹീറോ അവാർഡ് കരസ്തമാക്കി. സാമൂഹ്യപ്രവർത്തനവും ആക്ടിവിസവും കുടാതെ ഓപ്പൺ സോഴ്‌സ് പ്രോജക്റ്റുകളുടെ പ്രചരണത്തിലും പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു.

പേൾ പ്രോഗ്രാമിംഗ് ഭാഷ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് 1994ൽ എംകി സോഫ്റ്റ്‍വെയർ നിർമ്മിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി. 2007 ൽ റൂബി കണ്ടുപിടിക്കുന്നതിനു മുമ്പ് ASP.NET, ജാവ എന്നിവയായിരുന്നു പ്രവർത്തനമേഖല. [2] സോഫ്റ്റ്‍വെയർ കോൺഫറൻസുകളിൽ അവർ പതിവായി പ്രഭാഷണങ്ങൾ നടത്താറുണ്ട്, മാത്രമല്ല ലോകമെമ്പാടുമുള്ള ഒന്നിലധികം സാങ്കേതിക സമ്മേളനങ്ങളിൽ അവർ മുഖ്യ പ്രഭാഷണങ്ങൾ നടത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. [3][4]
സ്ത്രീകളുടെ ഓപ്പൺ സോഴ്‌സിലുള്ള മേഖലയിൽ സഹായിക്കുന്നതിനായി 2014-ൽ ഇവർ OS4W.org എന്ന വെബ്സൈറ്റ് ആരംഭിച്ചു.[5][6][7]
ഗൂഗിൾ, മൈക്രോസോഫ്റ്റ്, ആപ്പിൾ തുടങ്ങിയ കമ്പനികളുടേത് ഉൾപ്പെടെ 40,000 ഓപ്പൺ സോഴ്‌സ് പ്രോജക്റ്റുകളിൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന പെരുമാറ്റച്ചട്ടം 2014 ൽ അവർ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു. [8][9][10] കോൺട്രിബ്യൂട്ടർ ഉടമ്പടിയിൽ നടത്തിയ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളെ മാനിച്ച് 2016 ൽ അവർക്ക് റൂബി ഹീറോ അവാർഡ് ലഭിച്ചു. [11]
